A place to meet yourself through movement, when words have gone quiet, or circular.

Counselling Psychologist (HCPC), Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist (CTA and UKCP), Dance Movement Therapist (ADMTE)

Some people arrive in therapy with a clear story. Others arrive with a feeling: tightness in the chest, a restless jaw, a body that cannot settle, or a sense of being “fine” while something inside is not.

This is a space where we can think, feel, and move. Where we can listen for what is held in the body, what lives in relationship, and what has not yet found language.

Here, movement leads, and words follow. We listen for what your body already knows, and we let it speak in gesture, rhythm, breath, weight, and pause.

This is therapy for the parts of you that learned early to manage alone, to stay pleasing, to stay small, or to stay strong.

Creative, Body-based Movement Psychotherapy in Brighton and Online

Who this work is for

You might be drawn to work with me if you:

  • Feel anxious, stuck, overwhelmed, or numb

  • Feel empty, vacated

  • Notice repeating patterns in relationships, closeness, trust, or separation

  • Struggle with eating, body image, shame, or control

  • Feel confused about identity, direction, or self-worth

  • Carry trauma, including developmental or relational trauma

  • Sense an “inner younger you” that still needs care, protection, and recognition

  • Are open-minded, and willing to explore through conversation, creative methods, and body-based work

  • Can prioritise a steady weekly private therapy space

"The body is the container of the soul. Until we live in it, we can never truly come home."

My Specialties

  • Children

  • Eating Disorders

  • New Addictions

What sessions are like

Sessions are 50 minutes. Depending on what you need, we might work through:

  • talking psychotherapy, with a strong relational focus

  • grounding and nervous-system-aware practices

  • movement exploration (always consent-led, and never performance-based)

  • drawing, writing, imagery, and simple creative experiments

  • reflective integration, so that what emerges can be held and carried into your life

There is no touch in my work. Safety is built through pacing, clarity, and your ongoing choice.

A gentle first step

I offer a free 20-minute video call. It is not a sales conversation. It is a place to feel whether we are a fit, and whether this way of working is right for you.

You do not need to be ready to begin. Only ready to enquire.
